Inspiring creativity, establishing practices and building community wealth is the goal of O Ka ʻĀĪna Creations.
We create, practice and build wealth together as an ʻohana.
Engaging and focusing our daughterʻs creativeness into products and community wealth.
We searched for creative outlets for our daughter. Ben Franklin offered a bracelet-making class. After attending Wahine began her jewelry making huakaʻi.
Wahine will participate in her first market at Merrie Monarch 2022. Here she will share her creativity, practice her business plan approach, and have fun.
Hau is a natural resource that I learned to harvest and prepare into cordage as part of my hālau practices and hope to establish a hau industry in Hawaii.
Engaging ʻohana is key to a lasting practice
Our everyday uses inspire the hau product line.
We pick the shells that the winter swells carry into ʻĀinalani, Kings Landing, Hawaii.
The ʻohana then, cleans and polishes each shell.
